Azuki
Azuki is a community at the forefront of web 3 metaverse development. They recently launched their PBT (physically backed token) standard in conjunction with a collection of nine 24 karat gold-plated skateboards, each being plated with a different emblem that relates to the Azuki story - Frog, Cat, Sloth, Red Panda, Earth, Water, Lightning, Fire and Dragon. 8 of the boards were auctioned across 24 hours of competitive bidding, with a whopping $2.5 million worth of ETH being raised from the eight assets.
Our aim was to exaggerate the enigma of the Proof of Skate collection. The mystery is reflected with layers of swirling desert ambience and electro-acoustic texture. An ethereal butterfly is illustrated with a high frequency fluttering created with recordings of a lightbulb filament. As the obelisk breaks apart we are swept into a lush forest and the soundscape follows suit. Fibrous foliage emerges from the ground, birds and insects sing and the dragon spirit makes his presence known. The music solidifies as an organic and magical composition of flutes, strings and choral arrangements.
