Wear The Rose
O2
Produced by Unit 9 and partnering with O2 and the England Six Nations rugby team, Wear the Rose places the user at the centre of the national rugby team’s training session, allowing them to turn their head in any direction, with the content responding and moving in unison.
Displayed in a full 360º visual spectrum, Wear the Rose allows fans to train with the England team, participating in genuine drills directed by England Attacking Skills Coach Mike Catt
Our role was to enhance the experience by developing immersive sound design, placing the user in amongst the action. By accentuating tackles, introducing a sense of perception and augmenting slow motion sections with hyper-real sound effects we were able to effectively inject impact and energy into piece. More notably we used binaural recording techniques to for breathing, foley and ambiences so as to improve the POV experience.
